Prior to your first visit, please complete the new patient forms online & remember to bring your insurance card to your appointment.

Payments

For all patients, the entire patient portion is due at the time of the appointment. We will bill your insurance company. Any remainder not covered by insurance is the responsibility of the patient. We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express & Discover.

No-Show and Cancellation Policy Details

Our no show & cancellation policy applies to missed appointments, which include:

  • No-Show: You don’t arrive for your appointment & you don’t reach out to cancel.
  • Late Arrival: You arrive 15 or more minutes past your appointment time.
  • Late Cancellation: You cancel your appointment less than 48 hours (two business days) before your appointment time.

Hillsborough Street Dental is dedicated to delivering quality care & reserves appointment times exclusively for you. Because we reserve time exclusively for you, we ask that you make every effort to not change your scheduled appointment time. As a courtesy, our office makes every effort (although, not required) via several methods to confirm & remind you of your appointment. We remind & confirm your appointment(s) via text, email, & calls.

We understand there are times when you must miss your dental appointment due to emergencies. However, missed appointments impact the flow of patients in our office. If you have a history of 3 or more missed appointments with the office in a 12-month period, the office may decide to not provide further dental care to you in the future.

In order to provide prompt service & ensure all patients have the appointment access they need, you can help us by:

  • Arriving on time if not a couple of minutes early for your scheduled appointment(s)
  • Understanding that if you arrive 15 or more minutes after your scheduled time, we may need to reschedule your appointment.
  • Notify the office at least 48 hours (2 business days) in advance if you can’t make it to your appointment.

Any appointments not cancelled/rescheduled in advance are subject to a cancellation fee. If you need to cancel/reschedule your appointment, you may call, text, or email us & our administrative staff would be happy to assist with your appointment.

Weather Closings & Delays

Most of the time, our office follows the Wake County Public Schools weather closings & delays. If a closure affects an already scheduled appointment, patients are advised to call the office at (919) 834-1432 to confirm closure.
