Meet Linda Ying Zhao, DDS

Dr. Linda Ying Zhao joined the Hillsborough Street Dental family in 2021. A longtime Raleigh resident, she attended Broughton High School, then moved to Chapel Hill for undergraduate studies followed by dental school at UNC-Chapel Hill. She completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Westchester Medical Center in New York treating trauma patients & medically compromised patients & learning to perform surgically complicated extractions & implant surgeries.

After her residency, she moved back to North Carolina, where she was an associate at a group practice in Cary for eight years. She is excited to be back in Raleigh serving patients from the community & surrounding areas at this third-generation Raleigh practice.

She has completed in-depth implant training with the Triangle Implant Institute, sleep apnea & airway management with the renowned Dr. Jamison Spencer, cosmetic & occlusion training with Dr. Frank Spear & CEREC same-day crown training with 3D Dentists. Most recently, she completed training in laser therapy in dentistry & also utilizing Botox in treating patients that suffer from pain due to bruxism.

She enjoys life outside of the office with her husband & two boys. They love outdoor activities such as hiking & you might find her cheering her boys on at their tennis matches on the weekends.
